In the Foundation Stage, we provide a welcoming, caring ethos to feel safe, happy and secure. We provide a rich, stimulating learning environment which supports children in building a foundation for life learning. We encourage learning by building confidence, independence and problem solving.
Children will need their waterproof coat, a bottle filled with water, a bag for reading books and homework and a packed lunch (if required). A pair of wellies to be kept in school so we can access the outdoors.
Children have one break time in the morning and we provide fruit for their snack. We also provide milk and have access to their water bottles throughout the day.

Please read with your children at least 3 times a week alongside letter cards and word bingo.
We also send children home with a Borrow Book so snuggle up, get comfy and enjoy this together to inspire a lifelong love of reading!
There may be additional activities set on Dojo on the weekly message that will contribute towards the activities at school.
PE is on Tuesday afternoon with Miss Clarke.
As part of the Foundation Stage Curriculum the children get changed into their PE kits and these are kept in school. This should include a white t-shirt, plain black shorts or joggers/leggings/tracksuit trousers, trainers or black plimsolls.
Please ensure all belongings are named.
